About Us

Joanne is the Director and lead therapist for Rowan Tree Therapy Services. Joanne qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1998 from the University of Wales College of Medicine and furthered her qualifications by gaining a MSc in 2005. She has worked in a variety of fields within the NHS and the private sector including General Physical, Medical and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Brain Injury and Postural/Management.

Clinical skills include:

• Completing in depth assessments and interventions
• Analysing and writing clinical reports
• Utilizing evidence based interventions
• Report writing
• Communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

Rowan Tree Therapy Services has other Occupational Therapists that specialise in a variety of different fields.  All our Occupational Therapists are registered with HCPC, are members of appropriate professional bodies and have enhanced DBS checks.
