Joanne is a very dedicated person. She help me tremendously. I was unsure what I needed to do as the NHS was happy with my progress and signed me off.  I needed more advice on what my strengths were and how to deal with the fatigue, and could I be the person I was before the stroke. Joanne was fabulous she highlighted areas I needed to focus on. The diary was brilliant to see why I didn’t feel good some days. It may seem weird but with Joanne she made me realise that something so small can be so important.  My wife and I still do this today. Joanne gave a lot of support and encouragement to me and my wife which was fabulous. With Joanne she is very honest and would tell you straight away whether she can help or even tell you off for not putting enough effort into the new routine to help you. Joanne to me was an angel that helped me become the person I was before the stroke.

Joanne came into our lives when we were at a low ebb and confused. I was not in any frame of mind to judge what I did or did not need or what was right or wrong.  Joanne was like a breath of fresh air, she was always very professional and knowledgeable and what she didn’t know she would find out. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Above all she was easy to talk to and very homely. Soon we felt as if we had always known her.  I would not hesitate in recommending Joanne to anyone  in need of her expertise and experience in improving their quality of life.
